My Wedding Day
We tried to make our wedding as comfortable and beautiful as we possibly could. Creating succulent centerpieces from vintage rulers and yardsticks. Spending many months collecting mason jars, hundreds of doilies and white milk glass vases. Re-purposed an old painters ladder for our backdrop at our ceremony. Hand painted tiny animals were added to baby food jars, with gravel and baby’s breath as favors for each guest. Chalkboard signs greeted and welcomed our friends and family. And I created a beautiful gift/envelope drop box out of two vintage suitcases. See more at Christina Heaston Photography and Whisky Ginger.
Photography- Storytelling
Been working my way back into the joys of photography, with my iPhone for the quick shots and my Canon for the planned ones. If you enjoy a good visual story of my day to day, check out and follow me on Instagram.
Illustration/Print Design- Wedding Invitations
A wedding invitation that I designed. To tell you the least, I was a bit anal with letter spacing and layout.

Handmade- Series of Plugins
Decided to expand the series of gas lantern > electrical plugin lamps. Converted these 3 beauts. This time around was a much cleaner job, and much cooler looking I might add. Each running on a Thomas Edison style lightbulb for you old timers into the early 1900s look. You can find these soon at Whisky Ginger.

UX/IA/Web Design- StyleSeek
StyleSeek merges the visual experience of content/editorial sites like Tumblr with the functionality of e-commerce sites like Amazon, personalized for each user based on their style. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect is StyleDNA, where you can shop (and see the site) the same way as some of your favorite real and fictional men of style. styleseek.com

Handmade- Plugin “Gas” Lantern
Came across a few more gas lanterns. Ended up removing the gas tank in this one, wired the electrical through the bottom. Shining a Thomas Edison style lightbulb adds a nice final touch.

UX/Web Design- Emmy Star Brown
Reworked Emmy’s wordpress theme for ease of use when purchasing individual art pieces by including a”Contact for Purchase” cta, and allowing an easy option for users to return to product landing pages. In addition to site css clean up and alignment issues.
Handmade- Modern Drawer Shelf
I’ve made a few drawers into hanging shelves before and wanted to approach this version a little differently. By measuring, cutting, and mounting a few drawers into each other, I ended up with a unique modern art style wall shelf. (BUY IT)
